Summer Term 2 2024 - Gallery and Work
Conservation of Bees – Making Bee Hotels
We are helping to save the bees by making them a cozy place to stay and rest! In Literacy, we have written a set of instructions all about making a bee hotel. We followed our instructions carefully and successfully made some fantastic hotels. We have placed them in various places around the school grounds and will check them daily to see if we have any visitors.
Science
This week in Science, we have explored reflective light. We have tested different materials using a torch to see if they reflect light well. We made predictions about which material we though would be the most reflective and why.
Light-Up Signs
We have been learning about light-up signs and what they are used for. We have looked at a variety of different light up signs and discussed the different uses of them. We will be creating our own light-up signs so today we have been experimenting with working circuits. We created our circuits using wires, batteries and light bulbs.
