making the difference with Pupil Premium funding

The Dfe require us to produce a Pupil Premium Strategy for the academic year.

Our Ofsted report in February 2018 states: Disadvantaged pupils make  excellent progress the minute they enter your school

We have formulated our strategy for this year based on our  evaluation  of 2017-2018,  the impact on results can be found on the link here

Our strategy for 2018-19 can be found here.

We will review our strategy in July 2019.

This strategy  is part of the Academy  Improvement Plan (IP) that is formulated in September  and identifies our priorities for the coming year.

It is written by the leadership team and monitored throughout the year by staff and governors.

The  Improvement Plan makes sure that we think and plan carefully for the academic year and it secures a cycle of continuous improvement.

Pupil Premium spending  was reviewed as part of budget setting in April 2018 and the new financial year, but we do make amendments  mid-year, as our funding is adjusted dependent on the school census information

How we spend our 2018-2019  Pupil Premium Allocation - this link tells you how much we were allocated and how governors decided to allocate the funding
