Year Five visited Jarrow Hall as part of our Anglo Saxon and Vikings topic. We found out about the animals that the Saxon’s would have had on their farms, acted out crimes to discover the punishments then recreated a battle. One of our favourite moments was listening to the Beowulf story around a fire inside an Anglo Saxon house.
