We’ve been working hard in Geography this week! We started our topic learning all about our region and comparing it to the Italian region of Campania. We started off by using atlases, globes and Google maps to find and locate countries and their capital cities.
Did you know that a capital city is where a country’s government is located?
Gail from Sunderland Skipping School visited us this week. We have had our first skipping session, getting to know the basics and the skills we will need for when we visit the Beacon of Light in March to take part in our Skipping Festival. We showed excellent listening skills, were determined and persevered when things got tricky!
Welcome back! It has been lovely to see everyone returning with a smile on their faces. We have been incredibly busy getting back into a routine, teambuilding and getting to know our new teachers.
This, week we have voted and chosen our new representatives for the year group, our new school councillors, team captains and well-being ambassadors. We are really looking forward to another year of hard work, perseverance and fun.
