One of our key texts this term is Mother Earth is Weeping written by Claire Donald.

This is a little book of hope for Earth’s future guardians. A concerned Mother Earth confides in Moon about her fears for the planet. Moon seeks advice from Sun and together they reassure Mother Earth that her problems are not insurmountable and she can put her trust in children and young people to come to her rescue.

Street Rangers- November 2025

This week we have been out completing a litter pick around our local area with the help of the street rangers from Back on the Map. We worked in teams to clean the areas we walked to and made notes on the litter we collected. When we were back in class, we added together our results to find out the main types of litter in our area. This is part of our topic work on plastic pollution and we will use these findings in our literacy lessons.
