Valley Road Academy

Year 3 held a Christmas Craft afternoon last week and invited parents and carers to join in the fun! We had a wonderful afternoon making spiral snowmen and festive baubles. We also listened to mindful music while completing colouring and puzzle activities.

Year 3 visited Broom House Farm last week and had an amazing day! To help us understand where out food comes from, we visited the farm and learned animals, plants, and the food chain. Jo explained how the land and nature are preparing for the impending winter. We spent the morning touring the farm and seeing the animals in the sheds. In the afternoon, we visited the adventure forest to explore nature in the woodland. We also had a brilliant time creating our own adventures on the zip wire, slides and rope bridges!
