Thank you to all parents and carers who joined us for Easter crafts on Wednesday. It was so lovely to spend time with our families!

Spring has arrived in the nursery garden! Beautiful daffodils are starting to appear. We have found out about different spring flowers this week and have created some fantastic paintings of them.

We have loved the story of ‘The Three Little Pigs’ this week in nursery. We have built lots of different houses for the pigs and have pretended to be the wolf and blew the houses down. The children have remembered lots of the story and we have had great fun re-telling it.

Who is that trip trapping over my bridge?

This week we have listened to the story of the ’Three Billy Goats Gruff’. We made our own bridges for the goats. We pretended we were the goats and the troll. We remembered lots of the words from the story.

This week in nursery we started our fairy tales topic. Our first focus book was ‘The Gingerbread Man’. We re-told the story using pictures and props of the characters. We remembered our favourite part of the story - "Run, run as fast as you can. You can't catch me I'm the Gingerbread Man".

We have had a very busy week in nursery. We have enjoyed celebrating Pancake Day and World Book Day.
