Christmas 2020

Christmas Jumper Day

We all looked fabulous in our Christmas jumpers and enjoyed our yummy Christmas dinner!

Winter Soup

We decided to make a winter meal to keep those in cold places warm. We designed our own winter soup.
We learnt how to cut and peel vegetables, using knifes and peelers, safely. Then we cooked our soup outside on the fire pit, it definitely kept us warm!

In Geography, we have been learning about Antarctica. We were able to locate it using maps and globes. We understood that they showed, all the countries in the world and were able to answer questions. We learnt about animals that live in the Antarctic and were able to compare to those in different places.

Children in Need

This year the theme for Children in Need is, five to thrive. Be curious, be active, connect, take notice and give.

We learnt what the word ‘curious’ means and how being curious can boost your mood. We explored different feely boxes and talked about how we felt before, during and after the activity.

We talked about what makes a good friend and things that are special about our friends. We wrote these on paper dolls and joined them together to represent how we are all connected.

We know that keeping active makes us feel better. We enjoy keeping active everyday but one of our favourite things to do is dance. We took part in Joe Wicks workouts as well as lots of dancing.

We raised money for charity by buying Pudsey Bear keyrings, badges and headbands. Donating money for wearing odd socks and a biscuit.
