Summer Term Learning at Home

I hope you have managed to have a peaceful, fun Easter. Here we are at the start of the Summer Term - we have every hope that we will be back at school at some point this term, but for now let’s get on with some learning from home. Follow this link to daily lessons from White Rose. They are Y6 standard and will be revising learning we have already completed and teaching concepts we haven’t yet done. https://whiterosemaths.com/homelearning/ Choose Year 6 and Summer Term Week 1 The previous weeks titled ‘Week 1 and Week 2’ are learning around ratio and scale factors which we have covered. Week 2 moves on to learning about angles on a straight line and around a point which we had just started.  Start with the week commencing 20th April.  Each day, watch the short video and then have a go at the activity sheet just to the right of the video. The answers are below to check when you are done.If you find these too tricky, please drop down to the Y5 or Y4 videos - all revision is good!

Good afternoon year 6. We hope you are all well and have enjoyed a restful Spring Break. For this week, Mrs Ward has uploaded daily maths challenges, which you can access by following the link and instructions on Ffi. This will help you to revise what we have learned already and introduce you to some new concepts (we are here to help).

This morning, Amazon have made all children’s reading books free to access on their site. Please use the link below and enjoy your favourite reads or explore new material.
