Day 1

Day one: what a day! 

We have arrived safely and completed our first two activities. All children took part in archery and a zip line! Dinner was delicious- curry and mince and dumplings! Yum!

Right now we are playing stuck in the mud, exploring the grounds while Mrs Curle is preparing the camp fire for treats and a singalong before bed. 

We send our love back home and to school! 

Day 2

We have had a great second day! We started the day, cooking by the fire. We made chocolate orange cakes, pizzas and mackerel. They were yummy! Once our tummies were full, we headed to face our fears, tree climbing. It was a tough challenge for some but we all tried our best and reached our own personal targets. 

After lunch, we put on our wellies and headed down stream. It was very wet and muddy but lots of fun! We then explored the cave bus, working together to find our way through the narrow dark tunnels. 

We ended our night around the campfire, eating s’mores and drinking hot chocolate, singing the songs Molly had taught us the night before. 

We can’t wait for more exciting activities tomorrow and see our families! 

Day 3

We started the day with a full English breakfast. Yummy! The sun was shining, we knew it was going to be a good day. 

We learnt how to play frisbee golf and went exploring the grounds, orienteering. 

We braced ourselves for the cube, it was a challenge for some but with increased confidence after the tree climb, we were ready!  After a quick stop for lunch, we worked hard as a team to see how high we could get on the crate stack challenge.
