Lent Tea at St Ignatius

We were invited to attend Lent tea at St Ignatius on Friday 3rd March. Bishop Mark from Manchester spoke to us during the service about the importance of Lent. We also sang some songs for the congregation.

After the service, we were invited to stay for tea and cakes, which were delicious! We also got a chance to talk to Bishop Mark about his position and the church and Nelson Mandela (who we had learnt about last term).

Gymnastics

In PE, we have been continuing our gymnastics skills. We have been using more advanced equipment.

We have really enjoyed ourselves and have improved greatly. Some of us have also been invited to join the gymnastics after school club!

Friendship afternoon

In PSHE we have been learning about friendship and what it means to be a friend. We spent an afternoon talking about friendship and making crafts linked to friendship. We made friendship bracelets and talked about what we would put in our 'friendship soup'.
