Autumn 2 2018
This year the theme for anti-bullying week was respect. We talked about what is means to have respect and how we have shown respect to others and their belongings. We made a class friendship chain, and then joined each classes together to create a whole school friendship chain. We also worked with our friends to make a friendship bracelet as part of world kindness day.
Children in Need
This year we celebrated children in need by wearing spots or odd socks. We decorated biscuits with spots, sang our favourite songs on the karaoke, played party games and made split pin Pudsey Bear puppets. We had a great day and raised lots of money for children in need.
We invited our families into school to share what we have been learning about this half term. Our families were very impressed with our books. We also made lots of Halloween crafts.
Visit to St Ignatius Church
As part of our R.E topic we have been learning about where Christians worship. We visited St Ignatius church to have a look around. While we were there we found lots of objects such as a cross, flowers and a pulpit. It was really interesting learning about all of the different things.
